Medical Points in Gaza Strip

We are currently working with three medical points in two different locations in Gaza Strip to provide medical care services to the displaced population. Project teams:

• Medical Tent Doctors – Deir-Al-Balah
• Dr. Ismail Rizk Medical Tent – Deir-Al-Balah south west.
• Dr. Ahmed Khadr makeshift tent in Khan-Younis.

In May to July 2024, your donations helped the medical teams provide:

• 2,000 boxes of Diapers and 8,000 Baby formula cans.  
• Hygiene products for more than 20,000 mothers and children.
• Medical care for 19,800 patients.
• Oral and Eye care for 2900 patients.
• Access to clean water for more than 35,000 families.

Gaza Food Project

Families and children are provided access to food and dry rations to ensure children are not likely to starve or die due to their inability to access food. We are doing this by providing essential meals, dry rations, and Ramadan necessities to displaced families with children. with your donations we have been able to provide:

1. 7,800 meals for displaced families in tent camps in Rafah, with an average 4-5 individuals in the household.
2. 500 food parcels for displaced families with at least 5 children in the household.
3. 600KG of dates, distributed to 1,200 displaced families in Ramadan 2024.
4. 46,000 litres of clean water tanks to service remote tent camps across the Southern District of Gaza Strip.

Family Support

To ensure families and children are supported through the extreme conditions of the ongoing onslaught. We are doing this by providing baby care essentials, waterproof tents and blankets, entertainment and psycho-social support activities to children. With your donations we have been able to provide:

1. 380 diaper packages to displaced families with toddlers and newborns.
2. 100 Salat prayer packages to 46 households in a remote tent camp in Rafah near the boarders.
3. 1350 children (boys and girls), across three different tent camps, accessed haircare in the last three days of Ramadan in preparation for Eid El-Fitr 2024.
4. 1950 children (all ages), across three different tent camps, took part in an entertainment and recreational activity to celebrate Eid El-fitr 2024.
