Volunteer Team

Our team of volunteers are placed across the world and on the ground in Gaza Strip, who you can follow them on their social handles below for daily updates on projects’ activities. We are a small team, but aspire to make a significant impact to improve the lives of displaced families and children in Gaza strip.

Disclaimer: volunteer roles are unpaid in nature, we aspire to ensure that at least 91% of the total relief funds are directed towards funding the Aid4Gaza programme, for the direct benefit of the struggling families and children in Gaza Strip.

Volunteer roles required:

  1. Team leaders/Coordinators: to manage communications with volunteer teams in different languages. English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese.
  2. Data Management volunteers: we receive an enormous number of requests for support and access to donations, we need all the help we can get to keep up with the level of need.
  3. Communications & social media volunteers: we have just started using a number of social media platforms to provide a focused and organised communication campaign.
  4. Graphic Designers: with/without any experience, access to Canva and Adobe CC (in 4 weeks) will be provided.
  5. Online and street fundraisers: we are currently using PayPal and GoFundMe, and plan to acquire digital PoS to accept donations from the general public.
  6. X.com Space coordinator: a volunteer with public speaking skills to help promote the project.
  7. TikTok creators and Youtubers: we need more content creators to help us reach a wider audience.

Mohammed Mansour, Founder of VCS Academy CIC, and volunteer programme manager for Aid4Gaza.

Based in the UK, Mohammed is providing programme management, coordination with volunteers, and communications with partners and new volunteers who can support this programme.

Dr. Haya Hijazi, Obs & Gyna Doctor from Gaza.

Dr. Haya has sprung forward to support displaced children and families in Gaza Strip from the start of the war in October 2023. Dr. Haya leads a team of volunteers in the middle area of Gaza Strip and support pregnant and ante-natal cases inside and outside Gaza Strip. Follow Dr. Haya’s instagram

Samar Abu El-Ola – volunteer in Rafah, Gaza Strip.

Samar is clothing designer who have also stepped up to work with us to support the displaced families and children in the Southern District of Gaza Strip.

Team Happiness, led by Shaima Madi, is a team of 11 Palestinian girls volunteer in Gaza Strip.

Shaimaa is based in Rafah, Gaza Strip and has been working with local schools and cultural centres providing entertainment and recreational activities for children. Follow The team on Instagram

Malak Abed. Volunteer, and a displaced individual herself with her family who have now moved to Rafah.

A Community worker Based in North of Gaza Strip. Malak is one of our main volunteers who is able to provide timely support to families and children in one of the local tent camps in the Rafah. Follow Malak on Instagram

Haneen Al-Qahawaji
